This newsletter includes mishaps, pantry storage, and a dip into May/December discourse.
Hello! Youβve reached kelseyβs corner, the only newsletter on the internet written and lovingly curated by me, Kelsey. This newsletter was written by a woman taking antibiotics for a sinus infection and therefore trying her best.
Iβve been having trouble adding in Spotify widgets so youβre suck with this. Youβre welcome, America!
Even though itβs from four years ago I must present you with the oral history of the Folgers holiday incest commercial. This article has everything: earnest agency employees, chaotic incest shippers, and Veepβs Tim Simons. Some may say itβs the reason for the season!
extremely online corner | Check on the horny copypasta writers in your life. Also, hereβs a banger wrap of 2023 memes - personal favorites include the cop slide (underrated, imho) and Angela Basset Did the Thing.

Listen, we donβt need to celebrate another funky little white man whoβs an βββexpertβββ reacting to things, and with that being saidβ¦these videos are fun and they have good vibes. :)
I liked May/December! I think it was silly and serious and thoughtful and goofy and ultimately very successful. Itβs easy to watch on Netflix and totally worth your time. I think The Discourseβ’οΈ surrounding it is mostly overblown, but my favorite take came from the newsletter Garbage Day:
Anyways, itβs a good movie. People often make memes out of art that makes them uncomfortable. Charles Melton should win an Oscar. True crime-based entertainment is, by definition, dehumanizing. Five stars.
Real ones will remember that 100 years ago (August, approximately) I was on a furious path to revamping my apartment. Iβm back, baby! I finally bought a bunch of pantry storage containers on Black Friday and theyβve fully changed how easy it is to find things in my oddly-located pantry. Next up Iβm buying a portable dishwasher and Iβm so excited.
Iβll be back on December 292 with my very final newsletter: a 2023 (and, stealthily, a five-year) wrap up. In the meantime, why donβt you check out the most-clicked link from our last newsletter β this very good Make Movies Shorter hat. And, if you want to follow me around the internet you can find a link to my other socials here.
If you liked this newsletter, please share it with a friend or an enemy using the button below. If you double-liked this newsletter and want to buy me a Slurpee for my troubles hereβs my virtual tip jar.Β Until then, please be nice to people. Iβll be thinking of you.
Your friend,
Kelsey
There are so many tiny BONES in your HANDS and they are very EASY to BREAK!!!
Depending on how much I consume over the next two weeks I might make the newsletter on the 29th a βnormalβ swan song and drop the recap on December 31. But I donβt know yet. Iβm talking this through with you right now.
